We go through a lot of granola around here. My kids love it for snack, as a cereal or a topping! Here is a terrific recipe....
1 cup THRIVE quick oats
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 Tbs THRIVE whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup THRIVE brown sugar
3 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs honey
Heat oven to 325 degrees. In a bowl, mix together oats, crisp rice cereal, almonds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, wheat germ, flour, and cinnamon. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and honey; bring to a boil and cook 30 seconds. Pour over oat mixture and stir to combine. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake 20 minutes. Let cool completely on baking sheet, then break into pieces.
